Tacoma Power offers a Community Charging rebate program for installing EV charging stations at business, workplace, or multifamily property. Eligible participants can receive significant rebates for both networked and non-networked Level 2 charging projects.
Level 2 Networked Charging: Receive $5,000 per port, up to $50,000 total project rebate. for standard project, and $10,000 per port, up to $70,000 total project rebate for priority projects.
Level 2 Non-Networked Charging: Receive $2,000 per port, up to $15,000 total project rebate.
Utility Infrastructure Upgrades (utility side of the meter): Receive up to $10,000, included in total project caps for networked charging projects, and up to $7,000, included in total project caps for non-networked charging projects.
