Get Rebates Up to $125,000 for Commercial EV Chargers
LADWP offers rebates to commercial customers for installing EV charging stations for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles. Eligible costs include hardware, installation, networking, and maintenance. Chargers must be installed on or after June 1, 2022, and remain in service for at least five years.
Level 2 & DC Fast Charger rebates (light-duty) will reopen April 21 – May 9, 2025.
Receive up to $5,000 per Level 2 charger and up to $125,000 per DC fast charger for light-duty EVs and Medium- and Heavy-duty EVs.
Chargers must be permanently installed by a licensed electrical contractor and hardwired to the building premises (either wall-, pole- or pedestal-mounted) for a minimum in-service period of five years.
Chargers must be accessible to employees, customers, visitors, or tenants (except for medium- and heavy-duty EV chargers)

Level 2 Chargers (Light-Duty EVs)
Up to $5,000 per charger in Disadvantaged Communities (DACs).
Up to $4,000 per charger in non-DACs.
$500 per additional charge port.
Rebates limited based on parking spaces; up to 40 per site.
Chargers must have a J1772 connector and output ≥6.2 kW.
DC Fast Chargers (Light-Duty EVs)
Tier 1 (50–149 kW): $20,000 per connector.
Tier 2 (150–274 kW): $55,000 per connector.
Tier 3 (275+ kW): $100,000 per connector.
At least 50% of connectors must support SAE CCS.
Up to 8 rebates per site; only 2 can have restricted access.
Chargers must be networked for remote diagnostics.
Medium- and Heavy-Duty EV Chargers (Fleet)
AC Chargers:
6.2–49 kW: $10,000.
50–99 kW: $20,000.
100+ kW: $30,000.
DC Chargers:
24–49 kW: $35,000.
50–99 kW: $60,000.
100–149 kW: $100,000.
150+ kW: $125,000.
Maximum rebate per site: $500,000.
