Empower Colorado with Reliable EV Charging Solutions

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) have opened the 2025 application round for the Direct Current Fast-Charging (DCFC) Plazas program. This is your opportunity to expand access to high-speed EV charging throughout Colorado, with significant funding incentives available.

The DCFC Plazas program offers extensive incentives for projects across Colorado:

  • Application Deadline: June 13, 2025 at 5 PM MT 
  • Eligibility: Businesses & Industry, Government & Public Institutions, Tribal Governments and Entities, Non-profit.

  • Each site must include a minimum of four DCFC ports, each capable of providing at least 150kW charging simultaneously.

  • Stations must be available to the public without restrictions.​

  • Maximum Grant Amount: Up to $500,000 per project. 
  • Cost Share Requirement: Applicants must provide at least 20% of the total project cost, up to 50%, depends on projects.
