CALeVIP 2.0 EV Charging Rebates

The California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) provides funding for installing publicly available EV charging stations to support the rapid adoption of electric vehicles across California. CALeVIP 2.0 focuses on providing fundings to boost the number of direct current fast chargers (DCFC) across Northern and Southern California.

  • Get up to 50% of the approved total project expenses, with a maximum of $100,000 for each charging port.

  • Must be located in disadvantaged community (DAC) or low-income community (LIC) census tracts, as identified by the Priority Populations Map.

  • Sites must be publicly available to light-duty vehicle traffic 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.

  • Sites must install a minimum of 4 charging ports and can receive a rebate for up to 20 charging ports.
